Our Story

The Journey from Concept to Reality

In the Summer of 2022, our founder was looking for a Rattan Bar Stool with Swivel mechanism to sit nicely at his family breakfast bar. A simple enough web search, right? Unfortunately not.. Google Shopping didn’t recognise the swivel requirement and existing comparison websites just spat out a random array of non-rattan swivelling bar stools and non-swivelling rattan bar stools (there’s a song lyric there somewhere!). Around 4 hours/weeks/days later, after giving up his dream of being able to spin around and look upon his to-this-day unfinished garden and settling for that static option, FurnitureHunter.co.uk was born.

Quickly realising the scope of the project was way beyond one human, a team was appointed consisting of:

Saveliy Dzvonkevych, Head of Development

Sava is an expert in overseeing complex web development projects and jumped at the chance to tackle this one. Heading up a team of best-in-class experts, Sava oversees the bigger picture and keeps Furniture Hunter at the top of its tech game.

Enes Bol, Data Scientist

Enes is responsible for the data side of things at furniturehunter.co.uk and possesses a wide range of programming and data manipulation skills and experience. His expertise in categorising and classifying furniture catalogues is at the core of our platform.

Iulia Risnita, Design Director

A graphic designer specializing in Branding, Editorial Design, and Website Design, Iulia is responsible for the design and UX of the website, ensuring Furniture Hunter adheres to the latest best practices and advancements in user journeys.
